Each year, Restaurant Week by Vallarta Lifestyles transforms the culinary scene of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit into a showcase of creativity, technique, and flavor. This year’s edition is no exception, but among the offerings generating the highest expectations is the debut participation of Mesón Ibérico, an elegant restaurant located on the Marina Vallarta boardwalk that, in less than a year, has won over the bay’s foodie community.

Surrounded by yachts and the sophisticated atmosphere of one of the destination’s most exclusive areas, Mesón Ibérico proposes an experience that goes far beyond gastronomy. Since its opening in June 2024, this space has focused on bringing the essence of Spain to Puerto Vallarta through a kitchen carefully executed with ingredients imported from Europe, a well-curated wine cellar, and a refined setting that invites guests to linger after their meal.

For its debut in Restaurant Week 2026, the restaurant presents a menu that reflects different nuances of contemporary Spanish cuisine. The experience can begin with an Octopus Croquette with paprika, creamy and delicately smoked; a refreshing Andalusian Gazpacho made with ripe tomato, cucumber, and bell pepper; or an unexpected Guacamole with Crispy Beef Crackling that adds a local nod to the offering.

The main courses maintain the focus on product and technique. The Oxtail Stew, slow-cooked in red wine, offers a tender, deep texture reminiscent of traditional taverns in southern Spain. On the other hand, there is the Fideuà, a dish made with thin toasted noodles and a Mediterranean sofrito, available both in a señoritoversion with cleaned seafood or as a vegetarian version. The Sea Bass Donostiarra-Style, accompanied by shrimp and mussel, stands out for the balance between the character of the garlic-and-chili-infused oil and the freshness of the fish.

The sweet finish maintains the same line of sophistication: from the classic Santiago Cake made with almonds, to a silky Basque Cheesecake and a Duo of Cañitas filled with pastry cream and chocolate that evoke traditional Spanish pastry making.

With a capacity for 120 guests and an atmosphere that combines contemporary elegance with carefully selected Iberian details, Mesón Ibérico also houses a gourmet shop with wines, preserves, cheeses, oils, and Spanish products ideal for extending the experience beyond the restaurant.

During Restaurant Week, visiting Mesón Ibérico represents an exceptional opportunity to discover one of Marina Vallarta’s most interesting emerging culinary proposals. For 690 pesos per person, the menu allows diners to explore an authentic, technical, and profoundly sensory cuisine within one of the most anticipated culinary festivals of the year.
